Easy Crypto’s challenge
Non-custodial crypto wallets, such as Easy Crypto, face a duality of challenges. On one hand is the escalating threat of theft and cyber attacks, stemming from vulnerabilities in the single point of failure of private keys. In addition to this, the complexity and clunky experience associated with seed phrases-based recovery drives users to more centralised solutions. The challenge facing the Easy Crypto team was to deliver a smooth user experience and usable recovery options in a crypto wallet which was both secure and non-custodial.

By integrating the best-in-class Silent Shard MPC product into the Easy Crypto platform, we were able to eliminate the single point of failure associated with private keys managed by users.
At the same time, Easy Crypto wallet users get a smoother and safer experience with encrypted cloud backup. They also enjoy social recovery options which are significantly more user-friendly than managing complex seed phrases.
All this was achieved without compromising the non-custodial nature of the Easy Crypto wallet, meaning that users retain full control of their assets. What’s more, our blazing-fast MPC libraries mean the fastest execution with no additional gas costs.
