Open infrastructure gives financial technology teams a common place to build. As agents become part of that infrastructure, private computation needs to be accessible to the same developer communities.

On 9 September 2026, Ambika Pande presented AP3 at Fintech Sundowner: Decoding the Agentic Future in Mumbai. The event brought together the LF Decentralized Trust India Chapter and Road to Devcon India during Global Fintech Fest week.

Putting private collaboration on the programme

The evening combined discussions on tokenization, digital identity, open-source finance and agentic AI with short demonstrations. Silence Laboratories’ contribution was a dedicated AP3 demo.

For us, the setting made an important connection between privacy engineering and the broader agent stack. A workflow may have a way to identify participants, exchange messages and authorise a payment. It also needs to define how those participants can use private information together.

A building block for financial agents

AP3 is designed for that computation layer. The aim is to let agents collaborate on an agreed task while preserving the confidentiality of the inputs they contribute.

A useful design starts with the result the workflow needs, then works back to the minimum information and permissions required to produce it. That is a practical way for builders to approach privacy as they connect agents across organisational boundaries.

The Sundowner provided a focused community setting for this work, alongside other demonstrations of the infrastructure supporting trusted digital finance.
