Silence Laboratories ("we", "us") is the data controller for personal information you provide as a candidate. You can reach us at privacy@silencelaboratories.com.

  1. What information we collect

  1. Identity and contact details: name, email, current location, optional links (LinkedIn, personal site).

  2. Application content: CV/resume, work authorization, earliest start date, written responses to screening questions.

  3. Optional voluntary diversity / EEO information, kept separate from hiring records.

  4. Communications between you and the hiring team.

  5. Notes and assessments produced by the hiring team during the process.

  1. Description of Services

  1. To evaluate your application and conduct the hiring process.

  2. To communicate with you about this and potentially future relevant roles.

  3. To meet legal, regulatory, and equal-opportunity reporting obligations.

  1. Legal basis

We rely on (a) your consent for processing this application; (b) our legitimate interest in finding and evaluating qualified candidates; and (c) compliance with employment-related legal obligations where applicable.

  1. How long we keep it

Unsuccessful application materials are retained for up to 24 months in case relevant roles open up, after which they are deleted. You may request earlier deletion at any time. Successful candidates' materials become part of their employment record.

  1. Sharing

We use a small number of vetted service providers (applicant tracking, email, cloud storage, scheduling). They process information only on our instructions and under contractual safeguards. We do not sell candidate data.

  1. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, port, or object to our processing of your personal information, and to withdraw consent. Contact privacy@silencelaboratories.com to exercise any of these. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

  1. International transfers

Our team is global. Where information is transferred outside your region (including to the United States, the EU, Singapore, or India), we use appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect it.

  1. Security

We protect candidate information using technical and organisational controls, including access restrictions, encryption in transit, and least-privilege handling. No system is perfectly secure; if we ever discover a breach affecting your data, we will notify you in line with applicable law.

  1. Changes

We may update this notice. The latest version will always be linked from our careers pages.
